Ford is recalling 63,294 illustrations of the Bronco SUV and Ranger pickup truck, the National Freeway Website traffic Security Administration declared this week. The problem? The windshields on the afflicted autos may not have been properly affixed, this means they could detach.

All of the Broncos and Rangers becoming recalled are 2022 product year motor vehicles that have been crafted concerning December and April. The NHTSA suggests 39,063 Broncos and 24,231 Rangers are impacted by this recall.

“The windshield might not keep sufficiently retained in a crash, which may well enhance the chance of personal harm,” NHTSA mentioned in its bulletin (PDF). “The cause for this challenge stays unidentified at this time.” The NHTSA also pointed out that “impacted vehicles could exhibit amplified wind sound or drinking water leaks.”
